TERRY and DEBBIE ELEFTHERIOU - OWNERS
Chef Terry and his wife, Debbie are originally from Bergen County, but the couple moved to Monmouth County in 1998. Shortly thereafter, Terry and his partner, Bill Cleary, opened the Shipwreck Grill, where Terry serves as Executive Chef. Terry's true love for fine food shows in all that he does in the kitchen. Debbie is a full time volunteer. They raised two wonderful boys (now, young men), Alex and Adam, and are both passionate about the work they do. They have always dreamed of doing a venture together, so when the perfect location became available, they jumped at the opportunity and Sugar became a reality!
Being true lovers of a great dessert, their goal is to serve their friends and the community only the best baked goods! They look forward to welcoming you to their shop!
ANTHONY GUERINO - SPECIALTY PASTRY CHEF
As a decorated pastry chef and New Jersey native, Anthony Guerino graduated from Atlantic Cape Academy in 2010, but has had a love for baking since he was 16. Eight some odd years later, with a degree in baking, pastry and hot food, he specializes in all things sweet. Featured in Industry and Times Magazine, his love for baking and cake decorating has only refined his skills over time. From the smallest cupcake to the most extravagant wedding cake this family oriented baker aims to please all who try his sweet creations.
Anthony's main goal is peoples happiness when it comes to his desserts! Showing no sign of stopping, he continues to set the bar high and continually produce fresh, high quality baked goods.
